Websites for hotels & independent properties

Hotel Website Design

Help guests understand the stay before they choose a room.

Show the property's character and answer practical questions before a guest books. Room information, location and policies should lead to the booking route you operate. Ekyon can design that journey, plan group or event enquiries and handle agreed updates. Start with your property information and existing tools, then define the website's role.

A useful path through the site

Start with what your customer came to do.

01

Compare the rooms and stay details

02

Check through your booking provider

03

Book or ask about a group stay

Illustrative page journey. Content, availability and operational details come from your business.

A guest needs to compare the rooms

Use approved images and descriptions to explain room types, occupancy information and relevant amenities. Keep practical details close to the choice they affect. The room page should make sense on a phone and lead to the appropriate next step, with the booking provider responsible for its confirmed availability and transaction.

The booking handoff needs to make sense

A guest should understand where checking dates or booking will take them. We review the proposed link, embed or supported connection with your existing provider. Agree which details carry through and check the mobile route. Live rates, room inventory and reservations require an assessed connection rather than a decorative booking control.

Groups and events need a different conversation

A team retreat, wedding or group stay may need information and coordination beyond a room booking. If your property offers these, give them relevant descriptions and a useful enquiry route. Capture the initial dates, group size and purpose your team needs, then let the appropriate person discuss availability and arrangements.

The property information

Give the atmosphere practical detail.

Good imagery helps someone picture the stay. Clear information helps them decide whether it fits. We organise both around the property you operate and the questions your team regularly receives.

01

Room pages with useful differences

Agree the descriptions, photographs and facts for each room type. Explain meaningful differences rather than repeating the same amenities everywhere. Your team approves occupancy, inclusions and other details. We arrange the content into an understandable room choice and connect it to the agreed booking route.

02

Practical details guests can find

Keep approved arrival, location, parking, accessibility and policy information easy to reach where relevant. Your property confirms the wording and updates. These details deserve readable text, not just an image or download. Decide which questions belong on a room page and which need a shared guest-information section.

03

Dining, experiences and offers where relevant

If dining, packages or local experiences are part of the stay, describe what is actually offered and how to enquire or reserve. Name who approves dates, inclusions and terms. A seasonal offer should have an update or removal process before it goes out of date.

Booking and other handoffs

Connect the website to the process you already run.

The marketing website, booking engine and property systems have different responsibilities. We establish the boundary before quoting, so the customer-facing journey and the tools behind it work towards an agreed scope.

01

A suitable booking connection

Review the provider, access and supported linking or embedding options. Test the intended path on a phone, including room context where the tool supports it. Deeper integrations are assessed separately. Name booking-engine subscriptions and other external costs so the website quote describes the actual arrangement.

02

An enquiry path for the right team

Group stays, meetings and events can have distinct forms and recipients when your operation needs them. Ask for enough information to begin a conversation. Agree what the sender sees next and who follows up. A submitted enquiry should be accurately described, without implying an accepted reservation or confirmed event.

03

Checks beyond the button

Test the agreed links, forms and receiving routes with your team. Confirm that the next system or person gets the context it needs. Identify dependencies another supplier owns. Website clicks, received enquiries and confirmed bookings are separate events when assessing what the guest journey is doing.

Continuing website responsibility

Keep the property story current through the year.

Room information, imagery, policies and seasonal activity need continuing attention. We can combine starting website work with agreed care and content changes, with clear capacity and approval contacts.

01

A plan for the next update

Describe a typical month's changes: an approved offer, new photographs, event information or a policy revision. Agree which updates your team makes and which Ekyon handles. Keep a visible request list and an approval owner. Additional content production or larger features receive a separate scope.

02

Redesign, launch and technical care

Review useful existing pages and links before rebuilding. Agree content transfer and relevant redirects where addresses change. Check search access and important guest actions after release. Ongoing care names the supported platform, backups, recovery checks, contact routes and support coverage, including dependencies managed by other providers.

03

Search answers that reflect the property

When included, research relevant searches and improve useful room, property and guest-information pages, titles and links. Keep factual answers and matching structured data readable for conventional and AI search. Review visibility, relevant visits and enquiries separately. Search work has agreed priorities and capacity alongside maintenance.

Website work you can inspect

A real build, with its scope visible.

Ekyon's BidMyRoom delivery includes a public travel website and traveler/hotel request and offer interfaces. This is related product work, not a property website or booking result. General website projects identify their businesses; the property example here is illustrative.

A scope you can review

Plan the build and the work after launch.

Our first-year service engagement fit is US$5,000 or more, combining starting work and agreed care. This is not a fixed package. Content, migration and connections shape the quote. Hosting, licences, booking-engine charges and paid tools are identified separately.

Before you decide

Questions about hotel website design.

Can you work with our existing hotel booking engine?

We review access, supported connections, mobile behaviour and room context before agreeing a link, embed or integration. Live rates, availability and deeper property-system connections need their own assessment, beyond a standard website scope.

Can we keep the booking engine and redesign the website?

Yes, with a suitable provider handoff. Focus website work on property information, room choice and the route into that system. The scope names changes, supplier responsibilities and checks before release.

Can groups and events have their own enquiry route?

Yes, where the property offers them. Plan information, enquiry fields and recipients separately from room bookings. Your team confirms availability, terms and follow-up. The website accurately describes the enquiry stage.

Who updates offers and guest information after launch?

Your property approves facts, imagery, dates and terms. We can provide editing access or handle updates within agreed capacity. Name an approval contact. Additional content production, photography and larger features are separately scoped.

Will the website guarantee more direct bookings?

No. We scope useful information, a booking route and agreed search work, then review behaviour and enquiries. Rankings, AI recommendations and booking growth are not guaranteed. A click differs from a completed reservation.
