Stock App
Cross‑platform investing companion (iOS + Android)
Deliverables

Portfolio visibility with fee transparency
Stock App
We built a React Native investing companion designed to make portfolios easier to track and costs easier to understand. The product focuses on clarity: where your holdings are, what you paid, and what fees impact returns—wrapped in a fast, mobile-first experience.
Mobile-first: React Native app shipped for both iOS and Android.
Backend: Node.js APIs powering data flows and user accounts.
Cloud: AWS infrastructure for reliable deployments and scalable services.

The Process
From mobile UX to production backend
We combined product design with full-stack execution: mobile UI/UX, a stable Node.js backend, and AWS deployment practices suitable for a production fintech-style experience.
1) Product & UX scope: We defined the smallest set of screens needed for real users: onboarding, portfolio view, cost breakdown, and activity history.
2) Cross‑platform build: We implemented iOS + Android using React Native with shared UI patterns and consistent navigation.
3) Backend & infrastructure: We built Node.js services and deployed on AWS to support authentication, data access, and operational reliability.
4) QA & release readiness: We tested real user flows and performance on devices to ensure the app stays responsive under typical usage.
UX

Clear information hierarchy
We designed the core portfolio screen to emphasize what matters: holdings, movement, and costs—so users can understand their position at a glance.
Mobile UX that stays simple
Investing apps can feel intimidating. We prioritized approachable UI patterns, readable typography, and predictable navigation.
Performance on real devices
We focused on a snappy experience: smooth transitions, efficient data loading, and layouts that work across common device sizes.
User Interface

Problem Solving

Simplifying investing workflows on mobile
The app is designed to reduce confusion around costs and portfolio state by presenting the right data at the right time—without overwhelming users.
Fee breakdown: Make costs explicit so users understand how fees affect long‑term returns.
Portfolio clarity: Bring holdings into a single view with clean summaries and drill‑downs.
Faster decisions: Surface key information quickly so users can act without hunting through screens.
