Websites for home builders

Home Builder Website Design

From a home that catches the eye to a useful conversation.

A custom builder helps someone recognise the right approach for their project. Communities and available homes need different information kept current. Ekyon can design around the way you sell, with useful project or home pages and clear enquiries. We agree content approval and updates, then scope the build and continuing care together.

A useful path through the site

Start with what your customer came to do.

01

Explore a custom build or current homes

02

Review the details that matter

03

Ask about the next step

Illustrative page journey. Content, availability and operational details come from your business.

A custom-home customer needs to see project fit

Show your projects, role and initial discussion process. Pair approved imagery with useful explanation. A short enquiry establishes location, project stage and broad priorities before your team discusses feasibility, design or a detailed estimate.

A community visitor needs relevant information

Explain each community's location, the homes or plans offered and the next step. Your team approves amenities, pricing and access information. Organise these facts so a buyer can decide which community to enquire about and reach its contact.

An available home needs a current next step

A specific home may invite a viewing request. Agree its details, how status changes are published and who receives the enquiry. Clearly distinguish asking for a preferred visit time from booking a confirmed appointment.

Choose the right page plan

Match the website to how your building business works.

We begin with the decisions a prospective customer makes and the information your team can maintain. A custom-builder portfolio, community directory and available-home catalogue require different content and update arrangements.

01

Project stories for custom work

Identify the project, your firm's role, appropriate location detail and approved images or credits. Explain the process and projects you consider. Architectural, engineering and building advice stays with the qualified people responsible.

02

Communities and plans when you offer them

Agree a consistent record for each community or plan: approved description, imagery, relevant details and contact route. Identify who supplies revisions and which information is time-sensitive. Existing documents can inform the content plan, but the website needs readable information customers can use on a phone.

03

Enquiries that preserve the customer's context

Keep the chosen project, community or home clear when someone contacts you. Ask for enough information to start the right conversation and explain who follows up. Your business determines the appointment, feasibility and sales process. Test that the agreed receiving team gets the relevant context.

Information your team can maintain

Give every changing home record a clear owner.

Images can remain attractive while details become outdated. The scope should establish where property and plan facts come from, how changes reach the website and which parts require a deeper system connection.

01

Content and availability updates

Name who confirms a home's status, price or description before publication. Decide which updates your team makes and which enter Ekyon's agreed request list. Keep a visible process for important changes so information does not depend on someone remembering to email an old supplier.

02

An existing data source or feed

If information already lives in another system, review access, available data and update behaviour before including a connection. Agree what happens when a record is missing or a feed fails. Live availability, complex feeds and custom inventory functions need their own scope and running-cost discussion.

03

Approved assets and business claims

Confirm rights to photographs, floor plans and renderings. Label illustrative homes appropriately. Your team approves specifications, prices, offers and coverage. We organise and edit the material; the builder supplies the facts about what customers can purchase.

Launch and ongoing work

Make the handover as clear as the home pages.

Before rebuilding, review the current site, useful pages, customer links and connected tools. Agree the launch checks and continuing responsibilities together, so the design project ends with a usable care arrangement.

01

A considered move from the current site

Keep valuable project and community information in the page plan. When addresses change, identify appropriate replacements and test relevant redirects. Check search access and the important enquiry routes on the released site. The scope also names account ownership and any starting repairs before ongoing care begins.

02

Website care and recurring content requests

Define supported platform updates, backups and recovery checks, important form or booking checks, and routine change capacity. New projects, team details and approved home information can share one request process. Support coverage, escalation and larger changes are agreed explicitly; unlimited updates or round-the-clock support are not assumed.

03

Discovery grounded in the business

When included, research relevant searches and improve useful project, service or community pages, titles and internal links. Keep business facts accessible and structured data aligned with visible content for conventional and AI search. Track relevant visits and actual enquiries separately from impressions. Search work has its own agreed priorities and capacity.

A scope you can review

Plan the build and the work after launch.

Our fit guideline is a first-year service engagement of US$5,000 or more, combining starting work and agreed care. This is not a fixed package. Content, assets, migration and data connections affect the quote. Hosting, domains, licences and paid tools are identified separately.

Before you decide

Questions about home builder website design.

Can the service fit a custom home builder?

Yes. Focus on project stories, your approach, coverage and an initial enquiry. Communities or available-home listings belong in the plan when they match your business. We agree the actual pages and content before quoting.

Can the site show communities, plans or available homes?

We can discuss a catalogue and update process using approved information. Live feeds, complex availability and deeper integrations need separate assessment. The proposal names the source, update owner and supported behaviour; real-time inventory is not assumed.

Will a viewing form confirm an appointment?

A form can request a visit and pass the home's context to your team. Confirmed booking requires an appropriate scheduling process. The page should explain which step occurred and who confirms the visit.

Who approves property details and new project pages?

Your team approves availability, prices, specifications and assets. Ekyon can publish updates within agreed content capacity. We name an approval contact and process. New functionality, additional capacity and larger content-production work are separately scoped.

Does a redesign guarantee better rankings or more home enquiries?

No. We can scope a useful website and search work, then review actual query relevance, visits and enquiries after release. Rankings and enquiry counts are not guaranteed. A viewing request differs from a confirmed visit or sale.

Bring your current website or your plans
